Rain Policy

We strive to be open and able to provide for your paddle sports needs 7 days a week. Rain and thunderstorms are a battle that we occasionally have to deal with. If there is a high likelihood that the Lansing area will be covered in a rainstorm or thunderstorm, River Town Adventures will be open on a CALL AHEAD or RESERVATION basis only.

Since it can be very dangerous to be on the water during a storm, WE MAY CANCEL ANY RESERVATION AND CLOSE OUR BUSINESS FOR THE DAY if the weather or river conditions could potentially be dangerous. We strive to announce such closures in a timely manner on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
